Mental Health First Aid - January 9 - 2025
Event Starts: 1/9/2025 8:00 AM Event Ends: 1/9/2025 4:30 PM
We talk about it constantly – retention. We know it’s important. The trick is planning ahead and knowing how to keep our star performers engaged and challenged and the services of our departments running. We get so busy in the day to day that we don’t take the time we know we should to think through how to invest in those we most would hate to lose from our organizations or how to build more bench strength for our services. We also know how vital it is to be thinking ahead and preparing our future leaders to fill the shoes of current leaders so there is less transition from one to the next. These feelings are quite common in individuals that work in healthcare along with high-achieving leaders. It has been recognized to affect both men and women equally. It disrupts our ability to get out of our own way, get things done, develop meaningful relationships and ultimately achieve the greatness we deserve.
