Program Description:

Time is like money:  It must be carefully budgeted…because we only have so much of it!  But if you find that managing time is a lot like the kind of struggle you experience when holding a wet, squirming baby, then this class is for you!

Join this workshop to explore an abundance of tools to apply to your time management efforts.  Regardless of your area of struggle (not knowing where to start and what’s priority, struggling with motivation to get started, having too many tasks on your to-do list, not able to say no, challenging distractions, overwhelming interruptions, being buried under the weight of too many emails, just to name a few!), this class has something to offer!  Walk away with ideas of how to tackle your to-do’s more effectively.

Program Objectives – Participants will learn to:

  1. Appreciate the importance of prioritizing tasks and learn one tool to support this practice
  2. Introduce a method to break the procrastination habit
  3. Articulate the difference between distractions & interruptions
  4. Identify at least 2 tips for using Outlook to support greater efficiency
  5. Commit to trialing at least 1 new time management practice

Consider taking this workshop if the following are mostly true for you:

  • You’re so buried under your to-do pile that you’re not sure even a dog could sniff you out
  • You feel as though the number of balls you’re juggling might all fall right on you if another one is added
  • You put in a lot of time and effort, yet never seem to see the top of that to-do list
  • You have but one nostril sticking out of the water and it feels like a lead weight is wrapped around your ankle…you are drowning in the to-do cesspool
  • Coffee may jump start you but procrastination fizzles out your engine of motivation
  • You’d be fine if you weren’t so distracted or interrupted in your work
  • Your list of things to do is often so long you don’t even know where to start…and you lack the motivation to begin
  • Email is the new dirty word
