OB Boot Camp 2026 - Virtual & In-Person

Are you a new nurse to obstetrics (OB)? Is OB nursing something you are considering in your future? Have you been working in OB for a while but just don’t feel comfortable yet? Are you an OB nurse who hasn’t dealt with an OB emergency in a while? If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, then this OB Boot Camp is designed just for you. During this week-long experience we will explore all aspects of working in a rural healthcare obstetrics unit. Throughout this interactive boot camp, the participants will be engaged in simulated (hands-on) learning opportunities, including case study discussions, role playing effective communication/conflict management techniques, OB and newborn assessments/emergencies and reviewing of priority interventions for various OB situations.

Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation - August 2026

This course on basic arrhythmia will include an overview of the heart’s electrical conduction system, review of commonly seen arrhythmias and treatment considerations for abnormal findings and priorities interventions for lethal arrhythmias. Some self-directed activity will also occur as several strips will be presented for individual interpretations throughout the day, so that the learner can proceed at their own pace with the ability to ask questions and receive guided interpretation from the presenter.
