The RN Refresh Program is a dynamic, multi-tiered professional development initiative designed to reinvigorate clinical practice, reinforce foundational knowledge, and integrate the latest evidence-based best practices across all nursing roles and specialties. Whether you're a bedside nurse, educator, medical assistant, or advanced practice provider, this program will work for you! RN Refresh offers tailored learning pathways to support excellence in patient care, safety, and professional growth.

How It Works

    Subscription Details:

    Each subscription provides facility access to 12 recorded sessions and related materials for a one-year period from the date of purchase. 

    The series will be released on April 1, 2026, and will be available to purchase through March 31, 2027.

    Each facility will receive a link to view the course as well as a hospital-specific username/password that can be shared with anyone at your facility (i.e. your hospital and hospital-owned clinics). You may choose how to share the recorded sessions and materials:

    Sarah earned her Bachelor in Science of Nursing through Viterbo University, and continues to have a passion to hold herself accountable for multiple hours of continuing education. She brings a wealth of experience in providing quality care to patients in multiple settings including Intensive Care, Medical-Surgical, Rehabilitation, Assisted Living, and Long-Term Care. She brings a fresh approach that participants can relate to and bring back to their work practice to implement and grow in their career. She is excited to share her real-world experience to inspire and influence healthcare providers.

    Ronda Pennekamp
    BSN, RN, Nursing Clinical Development Educator

    Ronda infuses energy and enthusiasm into every aspect of her work with the RWHC team. With Bachelor’s degrees in both Education and Nursing, she brings a unique blend of knowledge and nursing hands-on experience in rural healthcare. Ronda’s passion for learning, growth, and encouraging others to embrace new challenges shines through in every workshop she leads, as well as every interaction she participates in. Her engaging, dynamic and approachable style, paired with her “teaching-first” mindset, creates an inspiring environment where participants feel empowered to grow and succeed.

    BS, RN, Nursing Professional Development Educator, Nurse Residency Coordinator & Lean Residency Coordinator

    Along with being an RN, Erin brings forward years of experience in various leadership roles in and out of healthcare. In addition to developing and presenting numerous leadership and nursing focused workshops, she also provides training in de-escalation as a Certified Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Instructor.
