Target Audience
This workshop is designed for healthcare leaders who are responsible for shaping culture and guiding teams. Participants may include directors, managers, supervisors, clinical leads, department heads and emerging leaders across all care settings.
Program Description
In healthcare, psychological safety is not just a cultural goal-it’s a leadership responsibility. Good leaders create the conditions that determine whether the staff they work with feel safe enough to speak up, share concerns or question decisions without the fear of retaliation. When leaders model openness, humility and accountability teams will respond with clarity, collaboration and provide overall higher quality care.
Psychological safety directly affects patient safety, staff retention and operational performance. When team members feel valued and heard, communication improves, errors are identified sooner and patients are protected. Leadership doesn't just influence safety; it builds and defines it.
Join me for this dynamic and engaging workshop where you will learn to discover the leadership practices that inspire trust and respect. These skills will unlock your team’s full potential and make psychological safety an everyday reality.
Program Objectives - Participants will learn to:
- Understand the history of psychological safety
- Create strategies to promote psychological safety during 1:1 conversation
- Become comfortable providing feedback that focuses on strengthening psychological safety
- Identify skills on how to provide psychological safety within your team
