Target Audience:
All healthcare leaders/supervisors

Program Description:

Our national healthcare workforce is quickly shrinking. As leaders, we already feel it. Questions we need to reflect upon:

  • How do we entice workers to join us and then choose to stay?
  • How do we help others fall in love with their work once hired?
  • How do we create a culture that employees don’t want to leave?

These are the million-dollar questions.

In today’s dynamic work environment, cultivating a positive and engaging organizational culture is pivotal for retaining top talent.

In this interactive and comprehensive workshop, we will explore the common reasons for turnover, review and self-assess/self-reflect on what leaders need to be aware of to lead a culture of retention, and then identify several best practices/strategies to enhance engagement so people choose to stay in the organization.

Program Objectives:

  • Defines culture
  • Reviews common reasons for turnover
  • Articulates or determines the measurable behaviors of trust
  • Participates in the 8-point self-assessment wheel of retention
  • Lists at least 5 best practice/strategies for retention
