Program Description:

Delivering excellent customer service skills day after day in today’s environment can be draining.  Join this workshop to recharge your service battery and polish your delivery skills.  Explore routine practices that can keep patient, family, and coworker service concerns at bay and satisfaction at its highest.  Also hone your skills in responding when, despite all your best efforts, customers get heated.  Lastly, recognize the need for a support network to keep the drive towards service at its peak on those tough days.  This class is for anyone who interacts with others in the course of their day.

Program Objectives - Participants will learn to:

  1. Apply the RATER Factors for delivering good customer service
  2. Practice techniques to meaningfully connect (the FEEL before the FIX)
  3. Explore 2 ways to engage customers when attempting to FIX a concern
  4. Identify support within our network for self-care

Consider taking this workshop if the following are mostly true for you:

  • Your role requires routine interaction with patients, family members, or coworkers
  • You are committed to delivering outstanding service each day
  • You’re feeling a bit burnt out – serving others is tough.  You need a recharge
  • You’re looking for a couple of new approaches in serving others well
  • You had so much fun in our other customer service and service recovery workshops, you can’t wait to come back for more!
