Target Audience:
Any healthcare-related worker
Program Description:
Healthcare is an intense business, now more than ever. In the midst of our accountability to deliver improved care with tighter resources, attending to the very real needs of others, it’s important to self-reflect and monitor our own reality. How are WE doing? If we’re not in a good place internally, it’s hard to continue to offer the best to others. It takes more than healthy eating, good sleep, and exercise to be resilient.
If you’re concerned about your own ability to not only persevere in an industry you truly love, but also about your ability to rise above the challenges, join us. Learn about the threats contributing to burnout, how to be alert to them, and creative strategies to take back control. Shift your mind towards greater resiliency and positivity. Explore new perspectives on work-life balance that enable you to prioritize your energy so it’s used for what’s most important.
Program Objectives - Participants will learn to:
- Identify contributors of burnout and how it reveals itself outwardly and inwardly
- Define the 4 Pillars of Psychological Well-Being and tangible strategies to achieve them
- Build resilience and re-establish control through mindset shifts
- Set priorities for life to promote satisfaction and best use of your energy
Consider taking this workshop if the following are mostly true for you:
- You feel like you’re on the brink of burnout
- You’ve tried healthy eating, getting enough sleep, exercising…but so far it’s not enough…
- You feel as though you’re burning the candle at both ends
- You’re pulling away from family, friends, and colleagues
- Your self-talk conversations no longer involve hope
- You find yourself surrounded by negativity and it drains your energy
- You feel like someone drained all the oil from your can (you know, the one with the “I still care” label on it)
- Work-Life Balance – what a pipedream!
- You’d like to help colleagues who are struggling but you need some new ideas to offer in support
