Target Audience:
Anyone seeking to improve their Emotional Intelligence
Program Description:
More and more the research is validating the dramatic impact that Emotional Intelligence has on the overall success of individuals in their roles. In fact, only 20% of success in positions is related to the technical skills needed to do that job, leaving a whopping 80% dependent on effective people skills. Good news is – these skills can be developed.
Join in this interactive 2-part workshop to dig deeper into understanding the four key attributes that make up Emotional Intelligence. Discover which one poses the greatest challenge and learn strategies for strengthening in that area. Any and all who desire to improve their work and life relationship successes are welcome to participate.
Participants will learn to:
- Define the four comprising attributes of Emotional Intelligence
- Discover strategies & tools to use to elevate competency in each of the four attributes
- Apply learning concepts throughout each related segment & determine the area of greatest potential for growth
Consider taking this workshop if the following are mostly true for you:
- You’ve heard about Emotional Intelligence and are curious to learn more
- You experience difficult emotions but you’re not sure where they’re coming from or how to handle them
- You acknowledge that your emotions can get the best of you, causing interference in your relationships with others at times.
- You find yourself regretting some of the things you say and do when you’re upset
- You occasionally miss the signs that others are emotional and others indicate you’re not as sensitive as they wish you were
- You struggle to know how to respond when others get upset – you can’t identify with what they’re feeling and you don’t know the best way to react
- You want to be successful in your relationships both at work and home
