The opportunity to network with one’s peers is one of the key advantages to membership in the Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative. RWHC offers 37 professional roundtables, representing a wide range of clinical and non-clinical disciplines—additional groups are considered on a regular basis.
Most of the roundtables meet 4-6 times per year, typically for 2-4 hours per meeting. Several of the professional roundtables also devote meeting time to the development and review of competencies for their positions, which serves both a functional purpose for their respective facilities and satisfies JCAHO requirements. The roundtables are an opportunity for members to discuss topical issues, exchange ideas and implement special projects. In fact, many of the products and services that we provide got their start via roundtables.
