WIN - Wisconsin Immunization Neighborhood

In 2011, the Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative invested in immunizations by launching the Southern Wisconsin Immunization Consortium (SWIC) to help address lower rural vaccination rates.

Over the course of 10 years, RWHC learned immunization rates are influenced by factors beyond a single county or area, so RWHC supported the transition from a regional coalition to a statewide organization, the Wisconsin Immunization Neighborhood (WIN) in 2021. RWHC continues to fund a liaison position to WIN to advocate for rural immunization advocacy and access.
